About Nicci Damhuis
Nicci (Attfield) Damhuis writes about the stories she can’t stop thinking about. Her debut, The Magic of Gilmore Girls is out in the UK in July and the US in September, which gave her an excuse to rewatch the whole series again (for research, of course).
Her second book, The Legend of House MD, is currently in the hands of White Owl, and she is already deep into her third, exploring the world of Anne Rice’s vampires.
She holds a Master’s in Diversity Studies from UCT and an Honours in Psychology, which means she overanalyses fictional characters every chance she gets.
She is also a book reviewer, an occasional article writer, a serial television watcher, a devoted partner to Jacques, a mother, and a firm believer that good writing is best done with coffee.
